I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Outdoor-Enthusiast, Triathlete, Weekend Warrior, and have a passion for promoting wellness. I created The Trail Mix as a way to allow backpackers, athletes, and those just seeking a healthier lifestyle to have a nutrition resource based in research and evidence. I also love that creating new content encourages me to continue my excitement and learning!
